A lot of information has been coming your way that affects your livelihood. Obviously the ratification of the tentative agreement will not only be paramount in shaping your career, but redefining the business practices of the Postal Service. I, as well as most, have some reservations concerning the use of " Postal Support Employees " ( PSE's, known formally as NCA's ) as they are not entitled to the entry level salaries and benefits that have been obtained through many years of tumultuous collective bargaining. I hold in the highest regard the efforts of all of the former officers and the monumental successes that we have obtained through Collective Bargaining however, given the current economical condition, both parties have reached an agreement that they thought would be the best resolution for not only the USPS but the American Postal Workers Union as well. The Rank and File Committee confirmed 100 % their support for the agreement and I also concur with their decision.
I have attended the Tentative agreement briefing conducted in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 19, 2011 and have now provided an audio version of this event.
